Oregon is an ideal place for running, active tourism, and enjoying nature. The state is surprisingly diverse, with long mountain ranges, huge vertical rocks, deep canyons, rivers, sparkling waterfalls, amazing plateaus that seem as flat as a table from a distance, and a “dormant” volcano, rising above the surrounding space.
There are also many lakes in Oregon, including Crater, the deepest lake in the Western Hemisphere, nestled in the caldera of a once active volcano. Most of Oregon is covered with forests – coniferous and deciduous. The state even has its own desert and a huge number of nature reserves. So you can imagine the beautiful views you may see on Oregon runs.
