This Virtual 5K is an opportunity for those passionate about birth and breastfeeding to join together across communities to move! Walk, run or race - this event can move at your own pace.

In honor of August Breastfeeding Month, Michigan Breastfeeding Network is hosting a 5K to celebrate the importance of human milk feeding for Michigan families. Our theme for this year is “Feeding the Future in Every Drop.”  

Proceeds from this fundraiser will go toward supporting the Local Breastfeeding Supporter Meetings. Local breastfeeding supporters serve in local communities throughout Michigan and are at the forefront for birth and breastfeeding families. “Feeding the Future in Every Drop” is what local breastfeeding supporters do every day with their community-rooted, equity-focused care for families. They are listening, supporting, and advocating for local families in order to build an equitable, just, and breastfeeding supportive culture! 

“Feeding the Future in Every Drop” highlights the important work local breastfeeding supporters do everyday to help families reach their breastfeeding goals and feed their families with life-giving human milk!
