Come participate in our inaugural Patriots Day 5K fun run. The Richard G. Liewer American Legion Post 728, City of Johnston, Johnston Public Safety and Iowa National Guard are hosting a Patriot's Day 5K to honor the events of 9/11 and build a Patriots Day College Scholarship Fund. The route will begin on Camp Dodge and travel through Johnston, running by the Johnston Public Safety Building, ending at the Johnston Town Center, where the final Tunes at Twilight will occur, featuring the Sons of Gladys Kravitz.  Race starts at 5:30 PM.
