Helpline House Turkey Trot 2022
Sub-events Details
1 Mile - Individual
5K - Individual
The 13th Annual in-person Helpline House Turkey Trot 5K/1mile Fun Runs takes place Thanksgiving day. If you can't make it in person you can still donate to Helpline House: helplinehouse.org. Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome.
The Turkey Trot supports Helpline House's Food Bank & Social Services commitment to supporting local households for a Healthy & Whole Community. 100 percent of funds go directly to Helpline House to provide a network of critical social services through a number of different programs – including children services, senior services, financial assistance and a food bank. The agency's programs help more than 2,500 people every year.
Thank you for supporting local families in need to prevent homelessness.
The BI Turkey Trot Team
The Turkey Trot takes place on Thanksgiving morning in Battle Point Park. Runners and walkers are welcome in the 5K and the 1 mile. The courses are mostly flat with gentle inclines and are family and stroller friendly.
Dogs and food are not allowed on the turf fields at Battle Point Park
If you would like to participate in both races, you must register separately for each race.
Our volunteers do their best to process runners quickly, but lines are long in the morning – leave yourself plenty of time to park, check in, and warm up before the start time.
Park in the lots accessed from the Park’s west entrance (via Battle Point Drive) or on the northwest corner of the Park.
Please carpool if possible.
Thank You & Happy Trotting!
