Since its start in 2008, the XTERRA Trail Run World Championship has been testing the world's best trail runners. In 2024, the XTERRA Trail Run World Championship is returning to Sugarloaf Mountain in Maine with both full marathon and half marathon distances, and a $10,000 prize purse is up for grabs for qualifiers.

The off-road, adventurous spirit of XTERRA reaches out to the community with the open-to-all XTERRA Sugarloaf Marathon, Half-Marathon, an 8K Trail Run as well as a free XTERRA Kids K for those ten and under.
