After several discussions with the City of Greensboro and the Greensboro Police Department, we have confirmed that the 2022 Women’s Only 5K is rescheduled for Sunday, Nov. 6 at MedCenter for Women. We are grateful to our community partners who have worked with us to make this new date possible.
Our new date requires several updates. Please read below for an FAQ on our new date, times and more.
Why are we racing on a Sunday? Due to a full calendar of Saturday events in Greensboro for October and November, it was determined that to hold the race in person as planned, the event must take place on a Sunday.
What is the Sunday schedule? To be respectful of racers and vendors for whom Sunday worship is important, the race will take place in the afternoon. The new schedule can be found above and here. We have done our best to accommodate an afternoon race while working around an earlier sunset.
Is the route the same? Adjustments have been made to the route to help with scheduling police and supplies for the event. Please visit our Routes and Timing page to see the new map.
How will I get my shirt? Packet pick-up has been rescheduled for Saturday, Nov. 5 at Omega Sports on Battleground Ave from noon to 7 p.m. You can also pick up your packet on race day from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at MedCenter for Women.
I cannot make the race or packet pick-up event. Will I receive a refund? Because our race is a fundraiser, the entry fee is non-refundable. We will ensure you receive the materials with your generous donation. If the pick-up and race dates do not work for you, we will arrange a post-event packet mailing for any unclaimed bibs and shirts.
We are excited that we can continue with our 30th-anniversary event. We hope that you can join us to inspire, empower and celebrate each other!
