Background
In September 2023, we held the inaugural WillPower 1M Walk + Talk | 5K Run on Philadelphia’s Wissahickon Trail. Despite a storm, we are so grateful that over 150 participants gathered to remember William and share in a remarkable day.

We are proud to announce that WillPower Foundation is a newly formed 501(c)3. For tax purposes, our EIN is 99-2327080

Our Mission
This event supports the WillPower Foundation’s mission to educate, support, and heal teens, young adults, and families affected by mental illness. The funds raised will help expand our programs, including educational courses, support networks, experiential workshops, and more. We are dedicated to ending the stigma of mental illness and promote the Power of conversations, and the Will to live.

Why Participate

Together, we can show that silence is no longer an option; that our willpower to overcome is relentless, and that no one should walk this journey alone. Every step you take and every dollar raised will help youth realize they are supported and to encourage them to speak up and ask for help. Your participation will be a beacon of light for those still navigating the shadows of despair.
