The Women’s Interval Home of Sarnia Lambton Inc. is excited to host our Walk a Mile event on November 19th, 2022. This event aims to bring all ages and genders of the community together to Break the Silence against domestic and gender-based violence. Domestic violence is a public health crisis that has negative impacts on our entire community of Sarnia-Lambton. Our goal for this event is to create awareness with a tour throughout the mall and to generate an important conversation surrounding domestic abuse and gender-based violence while raising funds to support our emergency shelter and services. Together, we can create a safe and supported community where all voices are heard, and everyone lives free of abuse.
