Vanguard Music and Performing Arts Alumni Association's 2nd Annual 5K event

To celebrate the start of corps' Spring Training or "Move-Ins", join us as we come together to train and participate in our second 5K event this May!

This event was such a success in its first year, we were so excited to do it again. We're looking forward to see people all across the world movin’ to support the VMAPA Alumni Association, and we are ready to see what each corps have to offer for the 2022 season!

Your registration helps provide scholarships and support for current members of VMAPA performing programs like the Santa Clara Vanguard and Vanguard Cadets. Our 2021 Move-in 5K successfully raised $4088.42 that will be dedicated towards scholarships for the 2022 marching season!

Important info

• What. Run, jog, or walk a 5K (3.11 miles) at your own pace.
• When. Register now and run/walk any time from May 1-31, 2022.
• Who. All ages are eligible to join.
• Where. Anywhere! Though the address is set in Santa Clara, you can race anywhere in the world!
• How. Register you, your friends, and loved ones (linked below).

  • All registrants receive a limited edition Move-In 5k patch to add their collection.
  • A limited edition t-shirt is also available for purchase during registration or in our race store.
