Entries are now open for the 2023 Vitality Membership Lisburn Half Marathon, 10K Road Race and Fun Run! The popular event will take place on Wednesday 21 June starting from Lagan Valley LeisurePlex.

The route has become a firm favourite on the sporting calendar with this year marking the 40th event taking place within the Lisburn area.

Runners can sign up today and set a new fitness goal or work towards smashing a personal best time. It is also the perfect opportunity for individuals to progress to a longer distance after completing the council’s new couch to 5K and 5K-10K programmes.

For those wishing to take part for fun, the Fun Run is the perfect event to run with family and friends and soak up the atmosphere. Schools and youth groups are encouraged to take part and get all ages active together!

Events are inclusive and are open to wheelchair and hand cycle participants.

Race times are as follows:

Half Marathon at 6.50pm

10k at 7.05pm

Fun Run at 7.20pm

Registration closes on Monday 19th June 2023 at 12 Noon.

The events are for runners only, no walkers.

Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

No refunds will be offered if the entrant is unable to take part after registering.
