This family-friendly event is staying VIRTUAL again for 2023!

The Fix a Leak Family 5K brings awareness and attention to our rivers as a means of recreation and conservation each year. Information on tackling water leaks in your home, as well as general water conservation tips, resources, and rebates, will be provided digitally to all race participants as part of the water conservation efforts of the City of Charlottesville, Albemarle County Service Authority, and Rivanna Water and Sewer Authority for Fix a Leak!

This is a FREE virtual 5K race you can do on your own during the the month of March. We will provided some suggested routes from previous Fix a Leak Family 5K races so you can enjoy the Rivanna River. Although we can't run this race in person, we hope you still help us chase down those leaks and stop the "Running Toilet"!

This event is part of the Fix a Leak Events sponsored by the City, ACSA, and RWSA. All events are FREE and the 5K resources and materials will all be provided digitally. We will be selecting several lucky winners that participate in any of our Fix a Leak events to receive a special prizes. This race is open for those that live in the City of Charlottesville and Albemarle County in Virginia. If you do not live in these locations, you will not be eligible for prizes or included in placed finishes.

Top 5K finishers will receive a $50 gift card to a local running shop. We will also select a lucky winner from all the 5K participants to win a $50 gift card to a local gardening business. You must register, submit your time, and live in the City of Charlottesville or Albemarle County to be eligible for a prize.
