New 2-loop course in 2022. Still super fast! Mostly flat to rolling course with uphills at mile 6 and mile 19. Last 6 miles of each loop flat/downhill. Includes 7 miles on the Burlington bikepath along Lake Champlain.

Come join us for a fun-filled morning of running and excitement as RunVermont will host our annual Youth Running Event, the Mini Marathon. Children ages 4 to 14 can come and share in the marathon excitement on the day prior to the M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon & Relay. Distances include Half-Mile and 1-Mile fun runs as well as a 2-Mile timed event. The first 400 registrants will receive a T-shirt.

Welcome to the M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon & Relay! A fast course - mostly flat with some rolling hills and one bigger climb at the midway point - through Burlington and along Lake Champlain, the M&TVCM is a community effort, recognizing all those who have had a hand in making the race a success since 1989. The course runs through the best of Burlington, from the Church Street Marketplace to the Burlington Bike Path and offers exceptional views of the Adirondack Mountains.
