Even More No Confusion:
Due to a low number of runners signing up early, we're cutting the price and changing this to an informal race: No prizes, no T-shirts, hand timing, and only $15 to race.  C'mon out and enjoy some low key racing and/or just get in some good speed work.  Runners who have already signed up will get a refund of $10 on race day, or a full refund if they prefer to cancel.

We have changed the name of the race.  It was The Ann Marie Sheridan... and is now The Rite of Spring.

Cross Country 5K
Let's celebrate spring (and Stravinsky) with a 5K race on Verdun's beautiful cross country course!  

Supporting
This race is a fundraiser with all proceeds going to support Verdun Adventure Bound.  Verdun is a educational 501 (C)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to support youth and adult personal growth incorporating experiential learning and stewardship of the land on its 66 acre retreat facility. Race Course
Verdun has a beautiful cross country course with just enough hills to make it interesting.  There is a lot of variety in surface and terrain... in and out of the woods, along side two ponds, over a couple streams (don't worry... foot bridges).  See the map below for the expected course.

We will acknowledge the winning runners in each category, but here will be no actual prizes.
