The Vargo Hill Trail Race is a 7K all-trail race held at Potato Creek State Park in North Liberty, IN on September 23, 2023! Potato Creek State Park is a very friendly course for first-time trail runners. This race will start/finish at Orchard Shores and utilize trails #1 & #2 and is capped at 125 runners.

Packet Pickup:

Thursday, September 21, and Friday, September 22 at Fleet Feet in Mishawaka (3522 Grape Road) during store hours (10 am-7 pm EST).
Saturday, September 23 at Orchard Shores in Potato Creek State Park (start/finish area) starting at 7:00 am. 

Race:

The Trail Race will start at 8:00 am on Saturday, September 23, 2023, from Orchard Shores in Potato Creek State Park. The race is all trail and can be hot/humid in September. You might want to consider bringing bug spray and sunscreen. Overall Male and Female awards will be presented after the race. 

Park Fees:

$7 In-State Daily Entrance
Noncommercial vehicles with Indiana license plates, every day including holidays. Admits driver and passengers.
$9 Out-of-State Daily Entrance
Noncommercial vehicles with out-of-state license plates, every day including holidays. Admits driver and passengers. 

Community Partners:

Vargo Hill Trail Race has partnered with the Food Bank of Northern Indiana to increase awareness of the effects of hunger and assist with helping feed the hungry. The local Food Bank serves Elkhart, Kosciusko, LaPorte, Marshall, Starke, and St. Joseph Counties. We will be donating a portion of each race entry to this organization to help solve hunger. $1 donated can provide up to 4 meals to those in need.
