We're having a pajama party!~
Come out to Newtown Park in Johns Creek dressed in your best "ugly pajama" (tacky, silly, cute, etc.) for a 5K run/walk! (Ugly pajamas are not required =))
Who's got some awesome ugly pajamas they want to show off?
If you got 'em for Christmas or years ago, come join us for a 5K pajama party! Pajamas are not required, so if you don't have any, we still welcome you to join the fun!
This may have to be one of our MOST participant-favorite events! What's even better is that WE ARE BACK at our favorite Newtown Park for 2023! It's dog-friendly, so you can bring your dog to run, or just for snuggles. Join the fun, and we can't wait to see you all out there! Bring your best ugly, tacky, silly, event cute pajamas out for a run (or walk)!
We'll have a great shirt for all participants! Great awards to the top 3 Overall M/F, top 3 Overall Masters M/F, Overall Grand Masters M/F, Overall Senior Masters M/F, and the top 3 in all the regular 5 year age groups. Awesome loop around the park so you can see your family & friends as you're all running; super spectator friendly! *Virtual option is available; virtual swag will be shipped out 1/17/23. All virtual participants will receive a shirt & chance at awards!

Get excited, grab some friends and buddies to join you! Sign up, and register for the Ugly Pajama Virtual 5K Run!
Step 2
Download your Custom Digital Bib! Hydrate, grab your buddy (or not), and get ready to get moving!
Step 3
Get out there and run or walk! You can run at the park, your favorite route in your neighborhood; anywhere you want. Please remember to social distance & be safe!
Step 4
HAVE FUN!~
Share your distance, a selfie, or a picture along your race route, and use the hashtag #UglyPajama5K #fivestarntp
Step 5
Submit your results directly on RunSignUp.com through your Profile page.
You can submit your race time HERE on the Virtual Results page anytime until end of day January 15th.
Step 6
View your Virtual Results HERE Monday after the Event Date.
MS is something that is close to our hearts here at Five Star, so every event this month will have the same beneficiary...The MS Center of Atlanta.
A portion of the event proceeds will be going to the MS Center of Atlanta, which exists to improve the health and hope of MS patients through advocacy, education, state of the art treatment and research leading to a more promising future.
You can help even more by giving an extra donation, or agreeing join the team, and become a fundraiser yourself.
We'll have awards for the following categories for the 5K:

- Top 3 Overall Masters M/F
- Top 3 Overall Grand Masters M/F
- Top 3 Overall Senior Masters M/F
- Top 3 in all the regular age groups 10 & Under through 80+.

We'll be running a Certified Course; # GA16050WC !
We're in North Georgia, and there's not much that anyone can call flat & fast. However, this is a super nice course all within the park and just a few rolls. =)
Running is more F-U-N together, even if we're far apart!
Grab your friends, co-workers, neighbors or family, and participate as a TEAM. Your TEAM can be local or across the states; virtual participants will have their shirts shipped! Teams of 5 or more receive discounts off their registration, discounts below.
- 5+: $2.50 off
- 11: $3.75 off
- 21: $5 off
- 51+: $6.25 off
- 100+: $7.50 off

Our events are designed to be fun for the entire family. With that in mind; any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds.
All registrations are final. There are no refunds, deferments, or transfers.
Event will take place rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, we will cancel for the safety of the participants; there are no refunds in this case.
Participants that do not show up to race/event forfeit their right to any swag.
No COVID-19 Refunds. If unforeseen circumstances arise due to COVID-19, including any Federal or State Health Emergency, refunds will not be provided. The event will go 100% Virtual & shirts will be shipped to participants.
