Turkey Trot 5K

Join us this Thanksgiving Day, for the 8th annual Turkey Trot 5K in beautiful, historic downtown Winfield, Alabama.  Show your thankfulness by helping the Winfield Police Department's Toy Fund.  100% of the proceeds go to this fund.  Our police department works with families all through the year to help provide some comfort/happiness to the children who are affected by hardships through no fault of their own.  They also provide Christmas to children who are affected by the legal system and may not otherwise have a Christmas.  Thanks to you and our sponsors, last year's race produced $6800 and every bit of that money plus more, was spent on Christmas for needy children in our area.  You and our sponsors are the reason this race continues to grow each year!

Run with us in the most fun race of the year! ******* New for 2023 race ******* ALL FINISHERS receive a Turkey Trot medal at finishline in order to get you to your Thanksgiving meal on time.  (Race will be timed).  Trophies to overall male and female runners.  No age category medals this year - we want to reward everyone for running and thank you for your help in this very worthwhile fundraiser.  Preregistration guarantees a race tshirt.
