JOIN US for the Tucker American Legion Post 207 Veteran's Day 5k on Saturday, November 11, 2023!   

ABOUT THE CAUSE:

The Tucker American Legion Post 207 strives to provide Veterans a sacred place dedicated to improving the lives of veterans and our community.  We accomplish through our motto of "Rescue-Restore-Repay":

RESCUE: Seek out veterans in crisis or needing a mission.

RESTORE: Promote good health and good skills.

REPAY: Pay back with community support and community fun.

The Veteran's Day 5K serves as both a fundraising opportunity for the Post as well as an opportunity to interact with the local Tucker community,  Veterans and non-Veterans alike.  Proceeds collected from the race will further the Post's missions of "Rescue-Restore-Repay" for Veterans in the Tucker and surrounding area.

Event details and schedule

RACE START TIMES:

5K starts @ 8:00 a.m.

COST:

5K - $30 until October 31st @ 11:59pm

5K - $35 November 1st to race day

RACE DAY REGISTRATION:

Race day registration will be held at Browning Village, located at 4985 Lavista Road, Suite H, Tucker, GA 30084 starting at 6:30am.

COURSE:

Same great certified 5K course as in the past.

PACKET PICK-UP:

Pick up your packet on race day, beginning at 6:30am at Browning Village.

AWARDS:

Overall M/F 5K; Masters M/F 5K; Age Groups 3 deep 5K - 19 and Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and up

TSHIRTS:  

All participants registered by October 30th will be guaranteed a race tshirt.  Any particpants registered on October 31st or later are not guaranteed a shirt so sign up early!

PARKING:

There will plenty of parking on First Avenue in Marked Lots and Bakers Paint.

This race is CHIP-TIMED!
