Truett McConnell University is pleased to announce it is supporting K9s For Warriors to raise money for their fantastic cause. One mission of the university is to serve our fellow man and we can think of no more fitting way than to honor our service men and women who fight bravely for our God-given freedom. Unfortunately, around 20 veterans who served post-9/11 commit suicide daily. Around 700,000 dogs are euthanized in shelters every year. Many of these are wonderful dogs who can be trained as Service Dogs for veterans in need. To date, K9s For Warriors has graduated 715 Warrior/K9 teams and rescued over 1,400 dogs overall. K9s For Warriors provides an amazing service to save two lives, please consider participating or donating to our event.
