WE WERE ABLE TO USE OUR ORIGINAL COURSE - which we will be on again this year.

Besides the new bridge in mile 11 you’ll be treated to a wonderful, smooth, and awesomely scenic Valley Forge Rd along the reservoir. And yes- the challenging 12th mile...

 

Our 5K course was not affected and we had a RECORD number of participants! Let's do it again.

 

The Weston Kiwanis Club and The Weston Kiwanis Club Foundation, Inc. are honored to host the Fourteenth year of the Reservoir Run Half Marathon, 5K, and Kids Fun Run.   We encourage you to join us for the Kiwanian's premier event. The Weston Community, Police, Town, and Schools join together every year to bring you one of the finest running events in CT.

8:20 am - 5K Race start in front of Weston High School *both starts will be very well marked

8:30 am-  Half Marathon start on the driveway near the football field *it will be very well marked

8:50 am-  Warmup to the Kids Fun Run, starts at the High School track on the football field

Race Courses: The 5K and Half Marathon will be the same as in our past.

The challenging Half Marathon course has terrific Autumn colors and scenery- especially along the reservoir- to keep you relaxed & 'occupied'! The Town of Weston offers challenging hills and some spectacular views.
 

 

BOTH COURSES START AND FINISH NEAR THE FRONT OF WESTON HIGH. 

The exact locations will be clearly marked.

Starting procedures, and race finish protocols will be compliant with any COVID rules if needed. 

 

The 5K course has some rolling hills.  It's a simple loop course with all right hand turns on quiet roads.

The Weston Roads are not closed but both courses are well maintained for safety.  WE ASK THAT YOU RUN/WALK WITHOUT EAR-devices FOR YOUR SAFETY- PLEASE! Be aware at all times.

 

The kids runs are varying distances on the WHS track- they will be determined by the ages and numbers registered.

 

AFTER YOUR GREAT FINISH:  

All Half Marathon Finishers will receive Finisher Medals.  

RACE AWARDS  will be presented ASAP after the results are recorded for the 5K and then later for the Half Marathon after the majority of the finishers are recorded.  

 

PREMIER GIFT CARD AWARDS - PRESENTED BY FLEET FEET OF WESTPORT

The top three male and female OVERALL champions in the half marathon AND the 5k receive separate awards* and are removed from their age groups. $100, $75, $50

 

Half Marathon age groups: 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+   Awards are three deep.
