24 HOUR MOVE4MOM
This year's format is a little different! The main event will be 24hr. relay event that can be completed individually or with a team. There are categories that can be completed virtually or in person at the event location. We will have access to a 5km, 10km and 20km loop in Kalamalka Provincial Park from 8:00am - 4:00pm to complete your distance. You can show up anytime between those times, sign in and get out on the trails! Our vision is that a corporation or entity will be matching a dollar value to every KM run in a 24 hour period. So every KM you put in, benefits directly to the The McMurty-Baerg Cancer Centre and The Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation. So lace up to shoes, start building a team, and lets see how many KM's we can accumulate TOGETHER!
RUN DETAILS:

STEP 1:
Decide whether you want to create a team (virtually or together in person) or sign up individually.
STEP 2:
Register for the category and goal distance you have decided to run/ walk on May 8. 2022 with a team relay or individual. Keep in mind, you can decide to run more then your goal on race day! Set a goal that will push your team to set some running distance goals for themselves.
STEP 3:
Make a donation to The McMurtry - Baerg Cancer Centre and The Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation directly from your race sign up form.
STEP 4:
Complete the registration process. Opt in if you wish to get a MOVE4MOM T-Shirt with a $25.00 donation. You will be asked at checkout if you wish to purchase a shirt.
STEP 5:
Challenge others to donate, sign up, support or to share The Movement Run!
STEP 6:
While training and on race day, use Strava to track and log your runs by joining The Movement Running Club! (https://www.strava.com/clubs/829417?oq=the)
- On race day, complete your virtual race!
- Upload your results to the Race Roster race page.
- Prizes for top runners, best photo, highest donations.
- Optional: Receive a The Movement t-shirt with a $25 donation

GUIDELINES
Use a GPS tracker to log your runs. We recommend using the Strava app which can be easily downloaded onto your phone to share your accomplishments with the The Movement Run community.
Go the distance and keep your distance. We recommend that you run solo while maintaining a distance of 6 feet or more while near other people. Have fun but stay safe!
If pathways are busy, please use a different route or run at a different time.
RACE DAY DETAILS WILL BE UPDATED HERE AND EMAILED OUT TO PARTICIPANTS AS THINGS SOLIDIFY!
