CELEBRATE SUPER BOWL with a 5K or  Valentine's with THE Heart Run 5k or Half Marathon13.1 with the HEART RUN HALF MARATHON.

Pick your theme.  You will get a bib and a shirt and medal that matches.  Both themes run the 5K and at the same time and are combined for one set of age division awards for the 5k.  Everyone gets a finisher medal. 

THIS FEBRUARY FESTIVAL RACE will include both themes in one race distance with all runners eligible for the combined age division awards.

WHY?!!!  SO YOU can PICK which February finisher BLING you want!  FOOTBALL or HEARTS! 

Order a carnation for you loved one at the finish.  OR a bag of chips and salsa for the GAME!  $5

Also available as an add on:   a $5 food voucher ticket. This can get  2 street tacos, a drink and a tamale, a full plate of  pancakes, or a coffee drink from the coffee truck.  Or just bring cash for race morning.

 Remember to also have $15 cash on hand if you are coming in the State Park gate to park. We encourage carpools.  There is free parking throughout Sunset Beach if you are willing to jog east and into that last LOT 25 on the corner of Warner and PCH. No car entrance is available at that far corner.  All vehicles coming into the Bolsa Chica State Park must come in the main gate in the mid section.   

Race Day Schedule:

• 8:00 AM START of the HEART RUN HALF MARATHON 
• 9:00 AM Start of the SUPER BOWL 5K, HEART 5K RUN

 5K RUN/WALK: Age Group Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd  TOP Overall Male/Female Trophy 1-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39 40-44, 45-49, 50-54,55-59 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80-over.

HALF MARATHON: Age Group Awards for Half Marathon 1st, 2nd, and 3rd  Top Overall Male/Female Trophy,1-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39 40-44, 45-49, 50-54,55-59 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80-over

Early Packet Pick-Up: We encourage you to pick up the day prior

  Location: Road Runner Sports in Newport Beach 1835 Newport Blvd, Costa Mesa, Ca. 92627
  Packet pick-up is optional, so if you cannot make it- don't worry. Packets can be picked up on race day starting at 7 am in LOT 25. The gates to the STATE PARK open at 6 am.

 PICK your THEME of a FINISHER medal...Heart or Football!  Everyone gets a Heart Run shirt. 

 HELD on SATURDAY to PRE-CELEBRATE the Super Bowl & Earn your Bling! Great way to  BE ACTIVE AND OUTDOORS!

 OR HEART THEMED to CELEBRATE as a prelude to Valentine's Day.  You choose how to celebrate it.  We will have a football corner of the expo, and a heart one!

HALF MARATHON gets long sleeve ZIP up or PULL over HOODIES for the HALF MARATHON that say FINISHER on them.   Medals help commemorate FEBRUARY themes.    Cheering you on into the finish.  MAKE GOALS for yourself in February.
