Every fall, cross country runners from all over the Greater Binghamton area participate in the
Southern Tier Cross Country Series to
run hard,
score points,
eat pie, and…
catch The Hare.
The Hare spends his Sunday mornings being chased by 100+ runners, and he hates it. He’s miserable, tired, and just plain old OVER IT.
This year, for the first time ever, The Hare is getting his revenge. On
Friday, October 28, The Hare gets to chase runners through the spooooooky forest of
Dewy Meadows Farm.
Come join us for this fun and unique 2.5-ish mile night run/walk! The run will start at 6:30 p.m., but stick around afterwards for a bonfire, refreshments, camaraderie, and perhaps a rare appearance by The Hare himself.
If you have already signed up for
STXC, this race is included with your registration!
What is
STXC, you ask? Great question! The
Southern Tier Cross Country Series is a series of races across the Greater Binghamton area. Confluence Running Events presents this race series as a way for our community to participate in the sport of Cross Country running for those of us "too old" to participate in scholastic and collegiate programs in a fun, laid-back, and approachable format. Don't miss out on the fun of real, pure cross country racing!
