TONIGHT'S RACE HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL FRIDAY, AUGUST 23RD at 7:30PM DUE TO THE THREAT OF SEVERE WEATHER IN OUR AREA.

The 7th Annual Cupcake Classic 3K will be held on Friday, August 16th, at 7:30pm at Wellington Park in South Lexington.  Our race will support the good work of VIPS (Visually Impaired Preschool Services).

PACKET PICKUP:   Our packet pickup will be held on race night (Friday, August 16th) from 6:00-7:30pm at the Wellington Park pavilion.  There will be no advanced day packet pickup for the race.

WEATHER PLAN:  Our race is a rain or shine event.  We know that there is a forecast for rain and possible severe weather through parts of Friday.  We will be watching this closely.  Our plan is to move forward with our 7:30pm start and delay the race in the event of severe (thunder/lightning) weather.  If it is just raining, then we will conduct the race.  If we are going to make a significant change (cancel/postpone) due to expected severe weather, then you will receive an email by 4:30pm on Friday with those details and our plans.
