TIME TRIAL START: This event utilizes a Time Trial Start format. The Derry and Windham Rail Trail is the perfect venue for a time trial start implementation in order to provide optimal race conditions for athletes looking for a BQ or PR!
Participants in each race are seeded fastest to slowest, based on pace data collected during registration. Each runner’s bib number has a Group # and Start Number (ie. Bib #101 is Group 1, Cone 01 – Bib #1250 is Group 12, Cone 50). Athletes are expected to line up with their respective group or corral and stand by their matching cone. They will be ushered to the starting line, 2 by 2 in order to start at their assigned start time!

EARLY BIB PICK-UP
Available from 10:30am to 7:00pm on Friday, April 3rd at the Millennium Running Retail Store (138 Bedford Center Rd., Bedford, NH)
RACE DAY BIB PICK-UP
Available starting at 6:45am at the registration tents located adjacent to the finish line in downtown Derry, NH. (1 E. Broadway, Derry, NH). All participants will be provided a suggested bib pick-up time corresponding with their personal start time.
RACE DAY REGISTRATION
There will be no race day registration, due to the nature of a time trial start we cannot accept race day registrants.
START / FINISH LOCATION
Derry Rail Trail (1 East Broadway, Derry, NH)
PARKING
Marathon runners should park in downtown Derry in municipal parking lots and street parking. Arrive early!
SHUTTLE BUSES
Half Marathon runners may use downtown lots, if available, However, guaranteed remote parking with shuttle buses service to/from the Start/Finish is available from the Park n Ride (2 Garden Ln, Londonderry, NH) at Exit 4 off I-93. Buses will start at 7:45am and run continuously on the 9 minute trip. Last bus departs at 9:15am. Buses will load at Central St for the ride back following your finish.
GEAR CHECK
Simply check your bag in the gear drop-off tent near the registration/post-race area and pick it up after you finish. A gear check label will be attached to your bib to attach to your bag. Please note that the gear check may be exposed to the elements, however clear plastic bags will be available to use or wrap personal bags.
AID STATIONS
Aid stations on route will be located approximately every 2 miles, and all will have Gatorade and Water available. Port-O-Johns will also be located at each aid station.
FINISHER AWARDS
Each finisher will receive a ribbon… That is right a ribbon! After all, it’s the CHEAP Marathon / Half Marathon!
AWARDS
Digital awards will be emailed to the top 3 men and women in each race and to the top 3 male and female in each 5-yr age group. (19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34 … 80+).
