Get Ready to Party with Fleet Feet on Global Running Day! Mark your calendar for The Big Run 5k on June 5, 2024

Global Running Day is our holiday; a celebration of the activity we love and the sport that brings our community together. We’re inviting all runners and walkers to join us on June 5th to mark the occasion, set a goal and cross the finish line of The Big Run 5K presented by Michelob Ultra and Brooks. We're offering both an in-person and virtual option for 2024! 

The first 300 registered in-person runners/walkers will get a medal, t-shirt, a locopop, and some goodies from our sponsors. We're excited to work with our local and national sponsors for this event!

Packet Pick Up & On-Site Registration PARTY!

• Saturday, June 1st - 12 pm to 6 pm at Fleet Feet Carrboro: Join us for a Packet Pick Up Party this weekend. You'll be able to pick up your shirt and bib ahead of the race on Wednesday, get a scratch off ticket, and visit with our vendors and supporters of the race! You could win prizes from our sponsors - Feetures, Nathan, Tailwind, Curex, Oofos, Stronger and Faster Durham, and more!
• Still haven't registered for the race? You'll be able to do it in-store or online through this weekend. 

Other Packet Pick Up Options:

• Wednesday, June 5th - 10 to 12 pm at Fleet Feet Ninth Street
• Wednesday, June 5th - 5 to 6 pm at the Eno River Farmers Market Pavilion - (we will have a hard stop at 6pm in order to get the race started on time, please plan accordingly)

 

Kids Run:

We will have a free and family friendly kid run starting at 6 pm! We'll do a shorter version of our run (~1/2 mile) and all kids will be given a medal! We'll have a quick check-in before the run around 5:55pm near the start/finish line. Family members are encouraged to run with their kids! Thank you!

Parking:

Parking is available in the Hillsborough Public Parking Deck behind the Weaver Street Market (please do not park in the lot in front of Weaver Street Market). You can then walk over to the start line at the Eno River Farmer's Market Pavilion (144 E Margaret Lane). 

Submitting Virtual Results:

For those who are running and walking with us virtually you can complete your 5K anytime between 6/5/2024 and 6/6/2024. Please upload your results to our RunSignUp page here. Click the Submit Virtual Results button and you can search for your registration by name or by email.
