Celebrate Global Running Day with us again in 2024! 

Global Running Day celebrates what makes running so special–camaraderie and friendship, endorphins and accomplishment, and the chance to challenge your personal limits on a challenging but fun course.

This year's 5K race will be held on Wednesday, June 5th at 6pm from Fleet Feet Birmingham. All proceeds from the race will benefit the Children's S.H.I.N.E. Clinic to help combat childhood and adolescent obesity. 

Each Big Run 5K finisher will receive a finisher's medal!

RACEDAY INFORMATION
Start time: Wednesday, June 5th - 6pm
Start Location: Fleet Feet Birmingham (3060 Healthy Way, Suite 100, Birmingham, AL 35243)
Course Map: Find the course map here
Course description: A fun (and hilly) 5k out and back route through the Altadena area of Vestavia. Work hard on the hills going out, but enjoy the ride down on the way back!
Packet Pickup and on site registration: Tuesday, June 4th - 4-6pm, Wednesday, June 5th - 12-5:45pm @ Fleet Feet Birmingham
Parking: In the Patchwork Farms Publix Parking Lot
Prizes: Prizes awarded to overall and age group winners
After Party: Join Fleet Feet,  Michelob Ultra, SnoBiz, Stretchzone and Therapy South for the after party to celebrate your run and Global Running Day!
