Adults with autism and other disabilities often have to overcome many obstacles in life, especially when it comes to finding a job and learning how to live independently. When you're on your own, these challenges can seem insurmountable -- but with a supportive team like The ACRES Project on your side, anything is possible!

It's in that spirit that we are excited to announce The ACRES Project Amazing Race! This challenge-packed indoor/outdoor competition and fundraiser will be held at Radio Park Elementary School and Discovery Space on Sunday, November 6th, rain or shine. Registered teams of two and four will tackle a gauntlet of fun trials together as they compete to win amazing prizes, all while supporting our mission to help local adults with autism overcome challenges and achieve their employment goals. Some of the trials may even give you insight into the everyday lives of our loved ones and neighbors with disabilities.

In the run-up to the event, registered teams are encouraged to create a team fundraiser and raise additional funding for The ACRES Project. The team with the highest fundraising total on November 6 will win our grand prize: a 7-day beach getaway to Mariott's Barony Beach Club Resort on Hilton Head Island!*

With 80% of our annual funding provided by private donations and fundraisers like the Amazing Race, we hope that you'll save November 6th on your calendar, assemble your all-star team, and make a commitment to change lives forever!
