5k Fun Run 

3 Mile Walk

1 Mile Scamper/Obstacle Course (for kids 10 & under)

 

Held annually on the last Sunday of every September, Bigelow Tea Co., a third-generation family-owned business based in Fairfield Connecticut strives to strengthen the ties we share with our community to support local non-profit organizations to provide spaces for youth development, mentorship and recreation.

 

Last year, thanks to our incredible participants and sponsors we helped us raise over $182,000 and look forward this year's impact. 

Registration Includes:
✔️ A race T-shirt
✔️ A heavy goodie bag filled with treats from local and sustainable partners
✔️ A raffle ticket for a chance to win exciting prizes after the race

🏅 Additional prizes are awarded to the top three finishers in each age group (for running participants only).

Whether you're racing for a personal best or enjoying a leisurely walk with family and friends, the Bigelow Tea Community Challenge is a great way to give back while having fun!

Race management provided by MS Running Productions. Timing services for the 5K is provided by The Last Mile Racing.

Saturday, September 27th: Pre-registration pickup @ Bigelow Tea (Front Entrance), 201 Black Rock Turnpike Fairfield, CT 06825 

• 9:00am - 12:00pm

 

Sunday, September 27th

• 8:00am: Bib pickup opens

• 9:00am: Kids' Fun Run begins

• 10:10am: 5K Run & 3K Walk begin

• 10:30am: Snacks & hydration! (& Free Beer with event registration for Ages +21yrs)

• 11:00am: Awards/Raffle begin. You must be present to win!

Please note: This is a rain or shine event! **Due to the charitable nature of this event, NO REFUNDS will be issued. **

 

Event Information:

5K Run: This is a computer chip timed 5k event. Awards will be given to the overall men's and women's champions.

Age group awards three deep for 9 & under, 10-13, 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+

3K Fitness Walk: Walk at your own pace on a non-competitive course. This event is NOT computer-timed. There are no awards for this walk.

 

Kids' Fun Run: **Kids 10 and under** 100-yard Scamper, 1-mile jog, and an obstacle course. Kids will enjoy awards, snacks, and fun activities!

Virtual Event Options: Follow along with the event @bigelowtea. We encourage you to share your training photos/videos and your day-of run on social media using the hashtag #BigTeaCC to stay connected! The virtual option is NOT computer-timed. There are no awards no raffle prizes.

• PRICING: 5k Virtual Run and 3k Virtual Walk: $30
             

*If you cannot pick up your shirt and/or giveaway shipping will be: $5 for shirt, $5 for the goodie bag, $10 for both.
