Portions of the trail are on steep and rough ground. Other portions are overgrown. The section off the ridge from Shun Yeung Fung on the first half of the trail is the roughest and most overgrown bit, though sections of the second half are also fairly rough. If it has rained recently, it will also be slippery. Be prepared for rough, outback conditions, this is not a road race!
