Join us as we return to Kendall Square in Cambridge for our 18th Super Sunday!

We look forward to welcoming you to our 18th edition of Super Sunday, a giant Super Bowl tailgate party which starts with two running races: a 5-miler and a 5K. For 2025, Super Sunday returns to Kendall Square in Cambridge. After the run, the party begins in our giant (20,000+ sq ft) beer garden sponsored by Mighty Squirrel, with food trucks and live music from TBD. The three largest teams also get special perks.For those not into running, guest tickets can be purchased at the door, or ordered at a discount during the race registration process, or you can get into the party for free by volunteering during the race.    Click Here To Volunteer

BEER & LIVE MUSIC!
All volunteers and runners 21+ get free admission and two beers at our Mighty Squirrel Tailgate Party.

Chip timing:
This is a chip-timed event. The timing chip will be on the back of your race bib. Please wear it on your chest and do not fold it.
Overall awards are based on GUN time. Age group awards are based on CHIP time.

Bag check:
We will have a free bag-check at this evet, and a changing area.

Walkers, strollers and dogs
Strollers and dogs are welcome but please line up in the back and maintain a safe distance from others. Walkers allowed but please move to the sidewalk if directed by Waltham Police or course marshals.

Super Sunday is only possible thanks to the help of dozens of wonderful volunteers. If you're participating as a runner, please thank them! If you're volunteering, we appreciate your support!

All volunteers get free admission into the after-party, free food, and two drink tickets. As a volunteer, you'll assist with tasks like number pickup, registration, bag check, course setup, water stops, marshaling, food and beverage service, awards, and cleanup.

Volunteers will be sent an email with instructions 1-2 days before their volunteer shift.

Raceday Schedule:

8:00am – number pick-up opens
9:30am – number pick-up closes
10:00am – 5M race begins
10:12am - 5K race begins
10:30am – post-race party opens
11:30am – awards ceremony

ENTERTAINMENT:

Beach Nights is one of Boston's most award-winning wedding & event bands. You've seen us on stage at Super Sunday for the past decade, and we're thrilled to bring the party back to Cambridge in 2023! You also know us as the house band at Lansdowne Pub since they opened their doors, and we joined Boston's Dalton & The Sheriffs at Leader Bank Pavilion in Summer 2021. We're keeping the tradition alive this year, playing countless weddings and events throughout New England and beyond. VIDEO HERE

Karate Show is a party rock cover band, and has been playing shows across Massachusetts for 11 years. The guys are looking forward to playing their fourth Super Sunday after party, and are hoping for either warm weather or space heaters. VIDEO HERE 

 

AWARDS:

Individual Awards:
5M: Trophies for top 3 overall women and men + age group champions (20&U, 21-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+) in the 5-miler
5K: Trophies for top 3 overall women and men + 13&U & champions + 14-18 champions

Top Influencer - refer the most runners into the event

Team Awards:
Fastest Co-Ed Team: The fastest team scored by the cumulative time of your team's top 3 female runners and top 3 male runners.
Mighty Squirrel Party Team: All teams with at least 10 runners are eligible to win a free Mighty Squirrel Taproom Party Tour, awarded to the fastest team based on the cumulative time of the team's top 10 finishers, male or female.

Top 3 overall awards may only be picked up by the actual winners at the awards ceremony. If you skip the awards ceremony, so do we. :-)

The event is hosted by our generous partner BioMed Realty.

Parking:
BioMed Realty is offering Super Sunday runners FREE PARKING at the Kendall Square Garage until 3PM. It's at 350 Kendall Street, right next to (and underneath) the party. Before leaving, show your race bib to the RACE Cancer staff member in the parking lot vestibule by the cashier for a voucher. You'll have 15 minutes to get your car out of the garage.

In the event of inclement weather, the event may be postponed to another date. No refunds will be issued due to conflicts with the postponement date. If RACE Cancer Foundation must cancel the event due to circumstances beyond their control, no refunds will be issued. Please remember that all proceeds go to charity.

Please do not sell or give your bib to someone else. If you do, both of you will be banned from future events.
