Suicide & Overdose Awareness Walk

Have you ever heard of "The Relay for Life" to help raise awareness to cancer and the loss that surrounds it? Our goal is for this to sort of resemble it. We will have vendors, informational booths, face painting and all around fun. We want to raise awareness to Overdose & Suicide. We will start our laps at 9am and have a kickball tournament at 1pm. In this walk we will complete a total of 6 laps around McLauchlin Park to equal 3.1 miles, a 5K. We would love for you to walk around and see what we have to offer and who we are representing as far as losses in our community to Suicide & Overdose. All participants that do a pre-sign up in the walk will receive a t-shirt and a medal. If you have someone you would like to honor in this walk text Carrie (910) 336-3554.

All proceeds of this event will go straight to our Suicide & Overdose Candlelight Vigil Ceremony in September.
