Congenital CMV (cCMV) is the leading, non-genetic cause of childhood hearing loss, and a leading cause of childhood disabilities.  Less than 9% of women have heard of cCMV.  Proceeds from Strides 4 CMV benefit The National CMV Foundation (NCMVF), which is dedicated to promoting awareness, providing access to resources, and sharing prevention information to eliminate congenital CMV.
