Wellen Park is pleased to announce the 3rd Annual Half Marathon and 5K, presented by Hotwire Communications.  Starting and finishing in the new downtown area of Wellen Park, Venice, Florida.  Donations and a portion of proceeds benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Suncoast https://www.bbbssun.org/

 

RACE INFORMATION:

When: Saturday, March 15, 2025

Where: Solis Hall, Wellen Park

Time:  1/2 starts at 7:30 a.m.  5K starts at 7:45 a.m.

Parking:  There is plenty of parking around the downtown area. 

*Walkers, Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome and must start in the back of each race.

 

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

• 6:15 a.m. - 7:15 a.m., Race Day Packet Pickup.

• 7:30 a.m. - 1/2 Start

• 7:45 a.m. - 5K Start

• 8:00 a.m. - Post race food and beverages.  

• 9:15 a.m. - 5K awards ceremony as determined by finish times.

• 10:00 a.m. - 1/2 Marathon awards ceremony as determined by finish times. 

    There are no REFUNDS for this race. Please consider purchasing registration insurance if you think a conflict may arise causing your non-participation.
