It's our 16th annual Southwest Center City (SWCC) 5K and we are excited to offer an in-person race on Saturday, October 26 and a virtual 5k option.  

Since 2009 participants have run through the beautiful residential streets of the Southwest Center City while helping to raise money to improve the neighborhood. The proceeds from this year's event will be donated to the Friends of Chester Arthur (FoCA) and Stanton Community Partners (SCP), 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations that benefit the neighborhood elementary schools.

The SWCC 5K is a run/walk that can be completed in person on October 26th or virtually. Participants can complete the race distance wherever they want during the suggested race dates in October. We will continue to offer the Monster Mile, a 1.0 mile fun run and and for our youngest athletes, the Spooky Sprint, a ~100 yard dash for kids under 6.
