Our 4th annual Set the PACE 5K supports PACE Southeast Michigan's mission to help older adults live safely and independently in their homes and communities. Your participation will make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors in Southeast Michigan. Don't miss out on this opportunity to enjoy the outdoors while supporting a great cause!

What does my 5K packet include?

All participants who registered by Friday, May 23, 2025, will receive a t-shirt and a race bib. Participants will also receive a medal at the finish line. Virtual participants will receive a medal in their race packet. T-shirts cannot be guaranteed if registered after May 23, 2025.

Race Details

• This is a timed, out-and-back 5K course on a two-way paved bike path with the start and finish at Stony Creek Metropark's Eastwood Beach. 
• One water station will be provided on the course at the turnaround at approximately the 2-mile mark
• Although we love our furry friends at PACE Southeast Michigan, we ask that you please leave your personal pets/dogs at home for the safety and comfort of our runners and volunteers.
• This event will occur rain or shine.

Awards

Awards will be provided to the first three male and female finishers, and to runners in each of the following age groups:

• 15 and under
• 16 - 30
• 31 - 45
• 46 - 60
• 61 and up
