It is everybody’s right to defend themselves. When training with F.I.T.E. Fit you will learn practical techniques to protect yourself and your family. The repetition of techniques is referred to as “drilling” in martial arts. Drilling will increase your retention of the techniques as your “muscle memory” will recognize and automatically execute certain movements. Drilling is also a great way to get into shape as the constant movement with and without resistance is a great workout. The purpose of drilling techniques is to develop enough “muscle memory” so that in any given situation you are able perform the self-defense techniques, especially when they count! F.I.T.E. Fit uses simple, and practical self-defense techniques to provide effectiveness in a self-defense situation.


Julian Rivera is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt, and is registered with the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation. Julian is a certified Wellness Coach and he is also certified in First Aid and CPR.  Julian trains and competes regularly in Martial Arts tournaments, particularly submission grappling tournaments. Julian’s passion for Martial Arts has inspired him to live a healthy lifestyle and he believes it will do the same for others. T
