The San Antonio RoadRunners invite women of all ages to join us for our 45th running of the Women's Run, events include a 10K, 5K & Girl's Fun Run! This empowering event is designed to celebrate the San Antonio sisterhood of women thru fitness & fun. We have a virtual option if you cannot attend the live run. The option to add-on shipping is available at registration.

 

Event pre and post-race activities will be at Alamo Heights United Methodist Church. No alcohol is allowed on their premises. No tailgating or ice chests allowed on the church premises.

5K Walk Rules: All who are registered in this category must WALK only. Anyone who is seen running at any time will be disqualified. Register for the 5K if you want to walk and run.

 

AWARDS: We will be giving out a pink lightweight hat with the Women's Run logo as awards. Must pick up award on race day. Check results before you leave, and have a friend pick up for you if you cannot stay for the ceremony.

Aid on the Course - There will be several water stations on the course. THIS IS A CUPLESS RACE--You must carry your own hydration device or a collapsible cup to fill at aid stations. Please give a hoot and don’t pollute, please dispose of your trash at Aid Stations or trash bins along the route. You can add-on a collapsible cup at registration or carry your own hydration.

10K will run the 5K route twice.

 

VIRTUAL 5K/10K Details:
--Women's Virtual 5K/10K  is a race you can run or walk from any location and route. You can complete your own race, at your own pace at a time you choose,
Simply signup, download and print your digital race bib, complete your 5K or 10K and submit your results.
--Digital Bib: Login to your RunSignup profile, Select>Upcoming Events>View Digital Bib...Share It!>Print, Save, or Screenshot.
--When you submit your time, you will also be able to download, print and/or share your Finisher's Certificate.
--Please take a picture at the end of your run with your Women's Run Medal. Upload these to your social media platforms and tag #SARR
--Complete your race and submit your results HERE between July 13-31, 2024

 

Register Early. SARR members receive a 25% discount on the 10K/5K with online registration thru 6/9/24 (automatically applied at checkout).
Runners age 24 or younger and age 70+ get a 50% discount on the 5K with online registration thru 6/9/24 (no other discounts apply)

 

SOCIAL TEAM DISCOUNTS: Create a social team and get your crew signed up. Your group will receive a discounted race price ($5.00 off regular price) when your team reaches 10 people. No other discounts apply.

Participants in the 5k and 10K receive a 2024 Women's Run shirt while supplies and sizes are available. We recommend registering early to guarantee your shirt. 

Girl Power Run participants will get the same shirt as the women's but in youth sizing. Shirts available while supplies and sizes are available. We recommend registering early to guarantee your shirt.

Calling all women and girls and those supporting our women! Join the San Antonio RoadRunners (SARR) and REI to celebrate women and running, and the 45th Anniversary of the SARR Women’s Run.
This is an afterhours in store experience for the San Antonio greater running community and REI Co-op members. Enjoy free music, product demos, adult pop-up classes, and kid activities! Giveaways and special discounts for REI Co-op members – some brand exclusions apply. Come connect with other local running and women owned businesses!
