DESCRIPTION

Bring your family & friends and join us for a fun morning and take part in the Saltus 5K, 1 mile or for the younger children one lap of the field (approx. 400m), event.

All the routes start and finish on the Saltus Upper Primary school field. All Saltus students will receive house points for participating and the year group with the most participants will be given a grub day. We encourage Saltus students to wear their red Saltus #4 shirts. Non Saltus students and their families are also encouraged to participate.

Saltus teachers / Admin staff participating are free. Thank you, Teachers and admin staff! (For events other than the 5K please use a coupon code on the payment screen Staff to eliminate any cost)

The order of events will be:

1. First Race 400m (1 Lap of the Field) for Nursery / Foundation (This event will finish before the start of the next event)
2. Second Race 400m (1 Lap of the Field) for P1 / P2 (This event will finish before the start of the next event)
3. The Start of the 5K
4. The Start of the 1Mile (5 minutes after the start of the 5K)

Parking on race day will be at the Senior School & Upper Primary parking lots with overflow parking at Bulls Head.

There will be a bouncy castle and a fundraising bake sale at the finish line; please bring some cash if you would like to purchase snacks and baked goods.

Although this is a fun event, there are some age guidelines in place: 

●      Any P1 or P2 child that is signed up for the 1 Mile must be accompanied by an adult on the course.

●      To participate in the 5K run the participant must meet the minimum age requirement of 9 years old. If under 9 years old, please enter the non-competitive category and you must be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age+.

Number pickup: 

Number Pick up on Saturday November 25 @ the Alumni Hall. Enter from the front gate on St. John's Road from 2:00PM to 4:00PM.

Please try to collect all race numbers on Saturday. 

(Event is open online through Saturday at 6pm. Race Numbers not collected Saturday will be available at the start of the event)

Sorry, but you must use a credit card that will work overseas to pay for any registrations

PLEASE NOTE: FOR SAFETY REASONS STROLLERS ARE ONLY PERMITTED IN THE NON-COMPETITIVE WALK AND WE WOULD ASK THAT YOU START NEAR THE BACK TO AVOID ANY INTERFERENCE WITH OTHER PARITICPANTS.

Please do not bring dogs to the Start/Finish Area in the interest of other participants.
