Running club will meet on Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30pm and all experience levels are welcome. We include Games & Activities, Incentives & Awards, Fun, Fitness & Friendships, End of Season Party, and a T-shirt. Club members will have the opportunity to run in a local race with a partner and other running club member.* Running practices will consist of the following: • Dynamic warmup • Running drills • Laps • Running specific exercises • Stretching • Mileage tracking We will hold discussions on the following topics: • Injury Prevention • Shoes • Cross Training • Progression • Race Day • Recovery & Rest Space is limited to the first 25 registrants and registration is non-refundable/non-transferable. * Fitwize Running Club members are invited to join us in the 11th Annual Sprout 5K Run/.Walk This event is scheduled for Saturday, November 5, and participants need to register for this separately; the race registration fee is not included in the Fitwize Running Club registration (race is not mandatory to be a participant of the club). Please be sure your child has a running buddy prior to signing up for the race.
