Volunteers and First Aid will be available along the route to assist you if needed.
The route is mostly flat and fast, with a couple small hill/inclines.
Please pay attention to marshals and police officers. follow instructions when asked to stay on the path or sidewalks as only part of the roadways will be closed for the race. Please use caution when crossing streets.
Two water stations will be available on the route near the halfway points and at the finish line.
Washrooms and changing facilities in the Professors Lake Recreation Centre will be open and available for use.
All walkers are welcome to participate and will be awarded a finishers medal. We only ask that you line up at the back of the runners. A two hour time limit is placed on the race which will leave plenty of time to walk the route and finish comfortably.
Please no pets or roller blades are allowed on the course for safety reasons. Strollers are permitted, but should line up near the rear of the start line.
Designated parking for the event will be available at: Professors Lake Recreation Centre (Capacity 80 cars) 1660 North Park Road Brampton, Ontario L6S 4B4 Additional parking: St. John Bosco School 1025 North Park Road Brampton, Ontario L6S 4B4 And nearby street parking in the event of full lots at the Rec Centre and school. *Please DO NOT park at the Brampton Chinese Baptist Church or the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall locations across the street.

Your race kit will include your bib, timing chip and a technical shirt.
Your timing chip is integrated with the bib. Please be sure to write your full name, emergency contact information and any allergies or health conditions you have on the back of your race bib.
An area inside the Professors Lake Recreation Centre will be designated as a bag drop location. We strongly recommend that you leave your valuables at home.
Indoor washrooms are available. Snacks and water will be available.
All completed participants will receive a finishers medal
We are looking for volunteers to help with the race! We have various opportunities available;
If you are a Grade 9 – 12 student and need volunteer hours, please feel to help in one of the above positions. We will sign-off on your volunteer hours. Please fill out the following Run4Hope Volunteer Form and email it to volunteers@bramptonbenders.com.
Email requests sent to volunteer without the form will not be considered nor will we follow-up to obtain the form. Please note, we have 100 spots and will close the application process once we meet that target.
