Run to Tijuana 5K Run/Walk

Join us on November 4, 2023 for the Run to Tijuana 5K Run/Walk.  This event will take place in the beautiful, historic town of Saltville, Virginia.  We will be using the Salt Trail, an old rail bed that has been converted to a community pedestrian and bicycle trail.  The 5K is not an officially timed event and no medals will be awarded.  

All proceeds from this event will go to fund treatment for Felicia Coulthard. Her goal is to make the trip to the Hope for Cancer Center in Tijuana, Mexico where she will receive multiple treatments and therapies to strengthen her body to keep the cancer from returning or to be able to fight it off. Hope for Cancer uses alternative and holistic approaches that can’t always be obtained in the United States. The cost of the treatments is $42,000 and is not covered by insurance.  

We are offering a virtual option for those who are unable to attend on the day of the race.  The virtual registration includes an additional $5 to cover the cost of shipping your event t-shirt. Register by October 22 for the best price.
