Write a New Year resolution on the back of your bib and RUN, JOG, or WALK it into the new year. Get in gear for your NEW YEAR.
It's an outdoor beach party with a New Year's Theme. Run on a paved path watching and listening to the surf. Whether an avid runner, jogger, a first-timer, or walker, we are the something for every BODY & EVERYBODY best themed races! Bring family and friends, or just yourself and shoes! Let's get 2023 off on the right and left foot! RUNNING.

( Farthest East- Lot 25) Closest to Warner & PCH. ALL PARTICIPANTS and VENDORS AND VOLUNTEERS must ENTER in the MAIN gate. Use the following address to enter through the main gate, 17851 Pacific Coast Hwy. Warner gate will be closed. Enter through the main gate and go east to the farthest parking lot 25. BRING $15 CASH (of a park pass) to make the gate line proceed quickly. Credit cards at the gate are a slow process.
STATE PARK Parking:
State Park parking fee is $15.00, cash will make entrance process faster. Recommend carpool or can drop off.
FREE OR METERED PARKING: There is also parking behind the Jack and the Box (corner of Warner and PCH ) and an easy walk in. DO NOT PARK in the shopping lot or at the gas station.
8 a.m. Half Marathon Start . Rolling until 8:05
9 a.m. 5K/10k Start Rolling until 9:10am
SPECIAL PANCAKE BREAKFAST!!!! The famous KIWANIS pineapple/coconut pancakes at this EVENT!!! $4 pre. $5 on race morning. You can add pancakes onto your registration on the last page.
The event takes place in LOT 25. That’s the lot right next to the Jack in the Box off of Warner and PCH.
8:00am start for HALF MARATHON. You have until 8:05 to pass under the arch. 9:00am start for 5k/10K. You have until 9:10am to pass under the arch. All 5k/10K must start before the lead half marathoner finishes. This will allow a ROLLING START. Meaning, spread out how you feel comfortable. YOUR START TIME does not start until you cross under the arch. Fastest runners in the front, and those looking to place in their age a group division. It's okay to take your time getting under the start ARCH. Your chip time does not start until you pass that first mat. Wear your bib on the front. Make sure you run the distance on your bib or exchange it for the correct one of your choice at solutions/Late reg if you decide to change races.
There are “In It To Win It” age categories 3 deep with 5 year age spans: 1-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39 40-44, 45-49, 50-54,55-59 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79 and 80 & over.
Flat and fast, or slow and easy, make it the pace you want it. This 5K/10K course runs along the beach bike path at Bolsa Chica, Huntington Beach State Beach. Families can bring strollers, but agree to use at own risk. Half Marathon Course: Flat, fast, perfect for PRs or training for your next marathon. It is (2)Two loops of the 10k so you get plenty of aid stations, entertainment, and spectator friendly!!Aid Station Every 1.5 Miles

Half Marathon Spectators - you can be at the finish line to see runners starts then walk about 50 ft towards the runners to see them go on their second loop.

Packet pick up is optional, so if you cannot make it- don't worry. Packets can be pick up on race day starting at 7am in LOT 25. The gates to the STATE PARK open at 6am.

Half Marathon start: 8 am
5k/10K start: 9 am mass start.
