Packet Pickup at 7:30am and Race at 9:00am at the Fayette County Schools Administrative Offices in Northwest Lexington

All are encouraged to register online in advance of the race.  We will not be taking cash or checks at the race.

Honoring Educators: The 2nd Annual Run for a Cause-Teacher and Staff Appreciation 5K

Lace up your running shoes and get ready to show some serious appreciation! We're thrilled to announce our 2nd annual Run for a Cause- Teacher and Staff Appreciation 5K, a special event designed to celebrate the incredible dedication and hard work of our school's educators and support staff. This fun-filled 5K run/walk isn't just about getting active; it's a fantastic opportunity for students, parents, and the community to come together and express gratitude for those who shape young minds and keep our schools running smoothly. Whether you're a seasoned runner aiming for a personal best or prefer a leisurely stroll with friends, every step you take will contribute to a meaningful show of support for the tireless efforts of our teachers and staff. Join us as we hit the pavement to celebrate their invaluable contributions to our community!

RACE FEATURES:

• Unique paved course looping through the LexMark International campus
• Commemorative unisex sized T-shirts (Adult and Youth sizes)
• 5K Run/Walk (timed), 1 Mile Fun Walk (untimed) 
• Overall Top 3 M/F and Top 3 M/F in various age group categories
• Form a SUPER SCHOOL TEAM and if you have 10 or more on your team you may win a prize!
• Free Race Photos

• Food, Fun & Fellowship for a great cause

RACE DAY SCHEDULE

• 7:30AM - Race Day Packet Pickup and Registration Opens
• 8:40AM - Welcome & Race Announcements
• 8:45AM - Warm-up Dale Robinson, GURU
• 9:00AM - Run For A Cause 5K START
• 9:02AM - 1 Mile Fun Walk start
• 10:00AM - Awards Ceremony (Overall, Age Group and Team Awards)

PACKET PICKUP - Our packet pickup plans will be announced closer to the race date.  We will definitely have race morning PPU from 7:30-8:45 am leading up to the race start.
