5 am cool start for the flat, scenic course from the picturesque Bay Street Esplanade through the capital city of Bridgetown (UNESCO World Heritage Site) along the west coast of Barbados, with scenic sea views. Turn around at Paynes Bay just before the world renowned Sandy Lane Hotel. Run this loop twice. Half marathon runs one loop of marathon route. The 5K and 10 K races start in Bay Street and run through Bridgetown and return to start alongside the magnificent Carlisle Bay.
