Rocky Mountain Road Runners holds a monthly series of timed races in the Denver area.  We provide a low-key, low-cost racing environment. Everyone is welcome to run with us!

Our January race will run in Thornton at Platte River Trailhead park at 88th and Colorado, and we will have both 10K and 5K courses.  Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before race start to get your bib and complete registration.

The 10km race uses a handicap start system, slow-to-fast. This gives everyone a chance to win. We'll use your estimated finish time to assign you a start time with others the same speed.

All 5k racers will start ~15min after the first 10km starters.

Race Day Details

Time: 9:00am for the start.
Check-in:  Show up by 8:30am to get your bib and warm up!  
Location:  Platte River Trailhead Park in Thornton
Course:  This race is out-and-back along the paved Platte River path.
Parking:  Plenty of parking at the park.
