Explore-a-thon 2023: Step outside, stand for conservation!

We're going virtual in 2023! We had a great time at our Gnome Hollow Hike-a-Thon last year...expanding our efforts in our first ever 'Explore-a-Thon' means even more fans of RVC (from far and wide) can get outside and raise awareness for our organization on their schedule.

Why participate?

Get outside: Spend more time in nature – there are so many benefits!
Support conservation: Registration costs and funds raised directly benefit Ridge and Valley Conservancy's mission to preserve local landscapes and protect precious ecosystems.
Get active: Track all of your outside adventures: whether you're walking, hiking, biking, geocaching, or simply wandering.
Connect: Team up with friends and family, create memories, and contribute to a good cause together.

How it works:

Sign up: Register above to join the movement.
Log your miles: Every time you're out exploring, keep track of your miles. You can log your progress manually or use a fitness tracker or GPS device. Click here for instructions on how to log your miles.
Raise funds: Get sponsors to support your journey with a donation to RVC! Remember, every dollar helps conserve land in northwest New Jersey.
Share & engage: Inspire others by sharing your progress. Use #rvcexplore2023 on social media.
