This is a fun way to start your Thanksgiving Day! The cost is only $10 plus 1 non-perishable food item per participant. Unique awards for standard age groups. T-Shirt options are limited - they are leftovers from past races (thus the "recycle" name). This is a certified 5K course. There will be refreshments at The Landing afterwards.

Event details and schedule

The 5K run and walk will start at 8:00 on Thanksgiving morning at The Landing Park at 139 Brooks St. There are several public parking areas along Brooks St where you can park. There is packet pick up on Wed Nov 22 at Run With It on Racetrack Rd from 4:00-6:00 and again on race-day.  The lines can get long 30 minutes before the start, so if you are picking up race morning be sure to arrive early. The course is a certified 5K that follows Brooks St east, then north on Bay to a turnaround, then reverses to the finish at The Landing. Awards will follow the run/walk (about 9:30). There will be refreshments at the park when you finish. Be sure to bring 1 non-perishable food item per participant that will be donated to local food pantries.
