This event is a relay with two people on a team : one snowshoer & one classic skier.
The snowshoers will start & complete a 1 km course , then tag a XC skier who will ski a 2 km loop back to tag the snowshoer for his/her second lap . Then the XC classic skier will ski his/her second 2km lap. So, two laps for each competitor.

Note: You need to bring your own skis or snowshoes ( some snowshoes will be provided by FAE).

Enter the park using the south entrance on the Pasqua Lake side and park at the trail head for the cross-country ski trails. Meet at the warm-up shelter, which is very close to the parking lot.

This event is being organized by the Echo Valley Trails Advisory Group (EVTAG) who assist the park with building, clearing, mapping and marking multi-use trails within the park.

PLEASE NOTE: Participants are still required to have a Park Pass to use the park facilities. If you do not have a valid seasonal pass, then you need to drop by Visitor Office to purchase a daily pass. Also, even though event is outdoors, Covid-19 precautions will be in effect. Participants will be asked to social distance and wear mask while in the Warm-Up shelter..
