The idea behind Racing For Mason comes from my family’s own personal experiences with severe burn injuries and my son’s seven-month recovery from his burns. This event is designed to help and support other survivors of burn injuries. In situations like this, the primary source of income may need to take time off work to help care for their injured family member. Because of this, proceeds will help cover the costs of groceries, frozen meals, medical treatment, gas needed to get to/from hospital visits, etc. Not only will your generous contributions help these families financially, but it also assures them that they are not alone in this extremely difficult and traumatic time of their lives. Racing For Mason includes a 5K run and a 5K walk. The runners will start their races first at 9:00am with the walkers following the 5K route after the runners.
