Join the Edgewood College Project Sunshine Chapter for a 5K run/walk open to the Madison community and beyond, fun for all ages.  The route allows participants to explore parts of Edgewood's campus and the surrounding neighborhood, full of beautiful scenery along Monroe Street, Lake Wingra, and the bike path/trail that leads to the zoo!

All of the proceeds for this event will go directly to the National Project Sunshine Chapter, allowing us to continue spreading the healing power of play to the local Madison area, nationally, and internationally.  Project Sunshine is the leading volunteer-based organization delivering free, in-hospital, and virtual programs to pediatric patients and their families.  We work with Child Life Specialists and other healthcare professions to create a space in the hospital environment for kids to socialize with each other and participants in fun activities that are both recreational and educational.
